Arcobel has been acquired by Acal

Arcobel Embedded Solutions B.V. (Arcobel) has been acquired by Acal BFi Nederland B.V. (Acal). The parties signed a sale and purchase agreement on Friday 14 June 2024 and aim to complete the transaction in August.

Acal is a leading provider of design-led technical sales support to its 6,000 customers across Europe, offering custom solutions and components from a broad range of products including Embedded Systems, Power Supplies, and Imaging Cameras. With over €200 million in sales, the company has been established in Europe for over 50 years and operates twelve offices across ten countries. Arcobel is a supplier of industrial PC’s, embedded IoT systems and network solutions for the industrial sector in the Benelux and Germany. Acal’s strategic plan includes developing its existing Embedded Computing business in the U.K. by acquiring established European companies with a similar design-led solutions approach and a strong brand image. The goal is to create a European Embedded Computing group of companies that will retain their brand, local customer and supplier relationships, and leverage the expertise of the acquired sales teams.
