I recently attended the ZKL 3000 RC refresher course. I felt it was more in-depth than the initial training with more time spent on installing the device and working through the MTinfo 3000 app. It’s given me the knowledge and confidence to use the device competently.

It’s been revolutionary having the ability to manage rail temperatures remotely. The more we know about rail temperatures on our network, the more accurately we can manage the system.

Darren Macey has been instrumental in the deployment of the ZKL 3000 RCs in the Liverpool area. He has conducted refresher training, provided expert advice on optimal installation locations and has even attended sites to help build the confidence of the teams. 

The Support team at Dual Inventive has also been a great help in the monitoring of devices when installed.

Network Rail Sussex MMT successfully tested the use of ZKL 3000 RC during our Signal Protection Zone trial, which was a huge success, resulting in significant efficiency savings in both time and cost. It enabled us to access areas of the Southern Network, that would usually require specific and disruptive access for maintenance and critical infrastructure repairs.  Not only has it saved time and costs but its removed unnecessary access to the infrastructure to place protection preventing injuries and ultimately saving lives.

Thanks to thorough planning and coordination, we successfully installed ZKL devices while still maintaining services from the bay platform at Maidstone East. The solution has proven effective, and we’ve now implemented our third T3-A possession — saving approximately 17 minutes during both the granting and giving-up process. A great step forward in efficiency and service continuity!
