The Solar NRG Optimiser kit allows you to get the most from your solar panel, by converting more of the solar energy absorbed by the solar panel into the main battery of the ZKL 3000 RC – even on the days when it’s overcast or where there is an embankment with overgrown vegetation.
Optimising battery performance with sustainable energy sources will extend the operation time for increased efficiency.
Using a solar panel to charge batteries our safety products reduce the need to enter the track environment to replace them, which benefits worker safety and reduces environmental impact.
The solar panel can be mounted on a lineside catenary structure /Stanchion (or similar structure) or a free-standing mount pole. If this option is not feasible the BBX 3000 (ballast box) offers an ideal alternative, particularly in areas with underground cables and pipes near the track that could be at risk of damage from a pole installation.
