The RDI 3000 is used in conjunction with the ZKL 3000 RC to provide additional protection using the online platform MTinfo 3000. When you activate the work zone remotely, the RDI 3000 automatically activates too. No manual placement of flags or detonators is needed. This one-click deployment of both track circuit protection and on-site warning devices makes your safety setup seamless and error-free.
When activated through the MTinfo 3000 app, a red light appears and a motorised arm places the detonator on the rail head while raising the red flag simultaneously. This happens automatically and within a matter of seconds.
When the red flag is raised, bi-directional red LEDs are activated to alert train drivers and/or track workers as they approach the protection zone.
The detonator produces a loud bang upon being run over, immediately alerting the driver to stop the train, wagon or on-track plant. The combination of a red flag, flashing lights and detonator noise are impossible to miss, ensuring maximum track safety.
