Jasper’s passion for engineering and commercial innovation began while studying for a mechanical engineering degree. He gained practical experience in the technical service for exhibition halls, where he could see the synergy between engineering and commerce.
While studying for his degree he met Lex van de Poel, the owner of startup company Dual Inventive, embarking on a career in rail. His role at Dual Inventive was to implement the ZKL 3000 RC for Dutch railway contractors.
The job was challenging yet rewarding and equipped him with the skills needed to drive innovation into the rail sector – skills that he continues to use in his current role as Production Director.
Jasper now oversees the production, service and maintenance, supply chain, and logistics, actively contributing to the day-to-day operations and implementation of innovative technologies in the Dutch rail industry.
